Welcome to Congregation Sha'ar Zahav's First Annual Kugel Nosh Down Blog!

The Kugel Nosh Down will be held Sunday, December 9, 2012, at Congregation
Sha'ar Zahav, 290 Dolores Street (at 16th Street), San Francisco, California. 

All proceeds go to support Beit Sefer Phyllis Mintzer, the synagogue's Shabbat and Hebrew school for children K-8.

If you would like to compete and have 200 discriminating tasters help you win a prize for the best savory or sweet kugel, send us an email at kugelnoshdown@gmail.com.  Competitors are admitted to the event free of charge.  There will be prizes in a variety of catgories including best savory, best sweet, most creative, and more!

If you would like to attend, tickets will be on sale soon so check back to purchase advance tickets for $25.00 plus fees/person in advance ($30 at the door) or sign up to receive notice when they become available by sending us a message at kugelnoshdown@gmail.com.  Ticket holders will get to taste all the various kugels! Drinks (alcohol ad non-alcoholic) will be served.  Menorah lighting at 5:00 p.m.!
